Research in Community Hospitals
The CHA actively encourages research and evaluation in community hospitals in order to inform practice and improve patient care by bringing together new knowledge, information, evidence, updates and resources on community hospitals. We support research in a number of ways including:
- Making the case for research in community hospitals
- Supporting research studies from inception
- Providing resources and references to researchers
- Assisting with analysis and interpretation of findings
- Helping with dissemination of studies
- Helping to build an evidence base of community hospital care
- Sharing new evidence from research
- Helping in the discussion in how to apply knowledge from research
- Assessing the impact of research on community hospitals and whole health and care systems
- Contributing to strategic discussions
